Our Doctors


Dr. David Little is a graduate of UNL and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at UNMC finishing in 1978. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Little co-founded Hastings Internal Medicine in 1978. He has served as medical staff president of Mary Lanning Healthcare. He has served as Speaker of the House of the Nebraska Medical Association and served on the board of directors. Dr. Little had extra training in endoscopy during his residency and performs colonoscopies and upper endoscopies. His wife Marje is a counselor at Hastings Middle School. They have three children and three grandchildren.

 


Dr. Richard French was born in Wahoo, Nebraska. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan University and earned his MD at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1975. His post-graduate internship was at Southwest Michigan Health Education, and his residency was completed through the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. French has received numerous honors including the AMA Physicians Recognition Award nearly every year since 1978. Dr. French has served on various committees through Mary Lanning Healthcare and has been a Preceptor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Internal Medicine and Primary Care Rotation for many years. Dr. French has also published two books, including a children's book entitled "Secrets of Dr. Richard's Black Bag." He has been active in the Hastings community. Dr. French and his wife Linda have a son and a daughter.

 


Dr. Paul Wibbels grew up in Wolbach, NE. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with Bachelor of Science and then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he also did his residency. He was Chief Resident at the University Hospital. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Wibbels is a member of the American College of Physicians, an AOA member, and serves as Director of Home Health at Good Samaritan Village.

 

 


Dr. Michelle Seizys attended Hastings College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Seizys attended UNMC and was inducted into AOA as a medical student. Her residency was done at UNMC where she served as Chief Medical Resident in 1997-98. Dr. Seizys is a member of the AOA honor society, ACP and NMA. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and joined HIMA in July 1998. Dr. Seizys is married to Paul Wibbels, and they have three children.

 


Dr. Justin Wenburg is originally from Beaver City, Nebraska. He attended Chadron State College and then earned his MD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. After a three-year internal medicine residency in La Crosse, Wisconsin, he returned to Nebraska and joined the Hastings Internal Medicine Associates in 2004. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Wenburg is married to his high school sweetheart, Kili, and has a son and a daughter. He is a sports fan and especially enjoys following the Huskers.


 


Dr. Doug Hentzen was born and raised in Seward, Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate education at Nebraska Wesleyan University. He obtained his MD and completed Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Hentzen joined Hastings Internal Medicine in 2010. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Tami, and four children, fishing and following the Huskers.



Lindsey Stout PA-C was raised on a farm outside of Nebraska City. She graduated from Cornell College with a Bachelor of Arts in 2007. She then graduated from the University of Nebraska Medicine with her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2009. She practiced in Family Practice for three years in Central City and has been with Hastings Internal Medicine since 2013. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants, and is the Physician Assistant representative on the Nebraska Coalition for Patient Safety. She is on the Board of Directors for Prairie Loft. She enjoys spending time, especially outdoors, with her husband, daughter, and Labradoodle.
